Travel with us You, too!

It is the accentuated objective of Miskolc City Transportation Company to develop a closer cooperation with the nursery and elementary schools of Miskolc. For the sake of this we would like to acquaint the children with the public transport and popularize it among them, to make them use it in the future too, since this way we can significantly contribute to the protection of our environment.

This initiative got the title “Travel with us You, too”, and it is to be widely followed by more and more attractive programmes.

I. The programme of the campaign for elementary school pupils

For elementary school pupils, in case they notify us about their wish to participate in our campaign, we give an appointment, when we demonstrate the appropriate way of using public transport. The demonstration follows the next protocol:

Our colleagues take a bus to the school,
in the classroom they give a picturesque lecture about the appropriate way of using public transport,
the children may have a closer look at the bus,
every child is allowed to sit in the driver’s seat, and we make a photo about them, and then
with a little surprise, each of them gets a certificate with their own names on it.
We deliver the photos to the classes later.

II. The programme of the campaign for nursery school groups

For nursery school groups we provide the possibility to resort to our company, when the children

after a short, playful programme
get acquainted with the site, and our vehicles, and
can try the driver’s cabin: they are allowed to jingle on the tram, sing into the microphone on the bus.

As a matter of course, our colleagues fetch the groups from the nursery schools by one of our buses, and when the programme ends, they take them back.

III. How to notify us about the intention to participate?

You can notify us about your intention to participate in our “Travel with us You, too” campaign calling the phone number (46) 514-900/302, or writing to the mail@mvkrt.hu e-mail address. We receive the groups and give the lectures in the schools in order of the arrival of the notifications. The number of the groups we can receive in a year is limited, so it is worth sending your application as soon as possible so that you can take part in our campaign this year!
